The official journey is over — but we’re still moving, still documenting, still listening as we bring the ship back home. The crew has changed: Gigi and Stephan have left; Markus and Christine remain on board, heading upstream with a changing cast of artist-friends. The logbook continues.
Our last day in Hainburg – we’ve already climbed all three hills around the town. Water levels are dropping quickly, and tomorrow morning we’ll try our luck on the river again. Between here and Vienna there’s still a stretch with strong current ahead of us, but after that, once we reach the locks and dammed sections, we’re hoping the current will no longer be an issue.
Yesterday, our guests Eva and Karin left the ship – it was wonderful having them on board, and we truly enjoyed our time together.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings – for now, we’re simply looking forward to being on the move again.
