Day 69, Hainburg, AT

logbook 25 07 30

The official journey is over — but we’re still moving, still documenting, still listening as we bring the ship back home. The crew has changed: Gigi and Stephan have left; Markus and Christine remain on board, heading upstream with a changing cast of artist-friends. The logbook continues.

Another day in Hainburg, and we climbed yet another hill. But most of the time, we spent simply watching – observing and studying the driftwood, the shifting matter around us.

The river keeps rearranging things, carrying pieces of the world downstream and swirling them in the eddies around our ship, reshaping them and leaving them behind in new constellations. It’s a reminder that materials aren’t static – they carry their own stories, movements, and agencies.
