We’re in Budapest. Today marks our first layover day.
We’re moored in a large harbor basin or backwater near the city center. Rowing and kayak clubs line the banks, one after another. The water is teeming with young people in boats, alongside fishermen, cafes, bars, and all kinds of vessels—somehow everything coexists peacefully and harmoniously.
Today we welcomed a special visitor on board: Ákos Cserháti, Managing Director of the free radio station Civil Radio in Budapest. You’ll soon find the interview in the “Network Partners” section.
And finally, some fresh news from our deck garden: the first strawberries are turning red, the tomatoes are thriving, and today we enjoyed our very first homegrown small salad with herbs!
All our plants were kindly sponsored by Drittelbauern from our hometown Ottensheim—thank you!
