In Belgrade, we met Aleksandar Popović from the Belgrade-based Serbian art collective Karkatag. Over a relaxed breakfast on board, we talked about art, politics, and the realities of working as an artist in Serbia. Later that day, we went downtown, where Aleksandar showed us around Magacin—a cultural center and collectively used space.
Karkatag collective also includes Ana Dimitrijević and Marko Dimitrijević, who weren’t able to join us this time.
