Ursula Lücke, Hamburg

We’re happy that Ursula Lücke is joining us on board for a few days – artist, cultural historian, and sailor. After several years of living and working in Linz, she’s now heading back north to Hamburg.

Ulla wrote her master’s thesis on „Wasserweib & Wissenschaft – On the Rising and Sinking of the Sea Women in Science and Art“. She explores the intersections of myth, gender, and knowledge through a queer-feminist lens.

Beyond theory, she’s also an artist and a goldsmith – creating fine queer art.
